I agree with Bernard, the tree doesn't add, maybe if it was sharper, and produced some strong shadows, it might have added, seeing as this was taken 4 years ago, I doubt you can remember but looks like the strong mid day sun? The first thing that struck me though was the windows, I looked to see if anyone was in them. The texture is great though, with the local contrast it creates all over.

A very busy photo, but without a real point of interest. The tree on the right is either too distracting, or not distinct enough, I'm not sure which.
I think you were interested in the texture of the shingles, which certainly look like a very promising photographic target, just a pity the tree is in the way.
