Our traditional Boxing Day walk this year took us over the fields at Beckbury above Farmcote...little did I realise that the snow had drifted in places to over two feet. I suppose I should have taken my clue from the complete lack of human footprints in the snow - an hour's walk took over two-and-a-half as Naomi and I struggled, slithered and slipped our way through the drifts
