17th - A Salutory Lesson

Cheltenham, Glos.

So we're about to go away on holiday for three weeks and the veg is looking good...a strict watering regime is in place, everything's coming on nicely and should be just about ready for when we get back

But I hadn't counted on the courgettes having grand designs on being marrows - this bad boy is a humble courgette but has obviously taken advantage of being unsupervised to jump up the squash ladder to become a prize marrow!

Looks like ratatouille until Christmas for me...just as well I like veggies :o)

Nice! I've found that zucchini squash seem to grow to massive proportions overnight. ;) Enjoy your harvest!
