I love to look for the gargoyles and characters in the architecture. I spend more time looking up, instead of where I am walking. Great view here! V

Excellent composition. I like the busy street contrasted with the tall impersonal buildings. Well done.

Great shot Doug, the wide angle captures the height but does throw it back away.
I notice the forground r/h building has 20 floors/windows high. Even that is high to me, the Empire State must be frightening.

Excellent view of the Empire State - but what about my favourite - the Chrysler Building?

Cracking shot, really shows the scale of it.

It's trying to remind me of council flats in Salford, but failing :o)

You have been from sea to shining sea within the US Doug! Hope that you and your kids have enjoyed the trip!
Love this photo! You have done a nice job showing the soaring height of these buildings and hustle-bustle of the streets. :-))

Impressive. I remember taking a similar shot from outside Macy's on W34th Street about 8 years ago. Hope you are enjoying the holiday.
