17th - Dense

Cheltenham, Glos.

My favourite colour combination - yellow and blue. Not quite sure what this shrub is (don't think it's forsythia...) but its dense flowers looked absolutely beautiful this afternoon against the perfect blue sky

Can anyone help me out with the shrub's identification??

Nice shot of this bush. We had one outside our backdoor when I was little and my mother
always called it a Japanese Rose (common name) and I've heard others call it that too. I
