Wide Horizons

Langley Hill, above Winchcombe, Glos. view map

We went on a walk-cum-hack last weekend - Naomi on Smokey, me and Finn on Shanks' Pony LOL; guess who had the easier time of it!! When we got to the top of Langley Hill, we were greeted with this stupendous view across to Dumbleton Hill and beyond...

I love the subdued colors...pastel and beautiful. Gorgeous vista!

Lovely - I love the tree against the sky.

Good to see some more outdoor images of this part of England. The view is expansive and deep, yes; but it is the colours which are particularly striking - the browns and various shades of green almost merging into the blues of the sky with the patches of frost in the foreground (or are they pools of water?) mirroring the clouds.
