The lush meadows of the Avon around Sherbourne, to the south-west of Warwick, look idyllic on a blustery but bright May afternoon.
The spire of the Victorian Gothic All Saints' in the village is hidden behind the centre tree; try as I might, I just couldn't get a clear shot of the meadows, herd and spire (at least, not without serious personal damage)...now THAT would have been a classic English pastoral scene!!
