The beautifully peaceful rural setting of the 11th century St. Eadburgha's Church, nestling at the bottom of the road up to Snowshill, on the outskirts of Broadway, the quintessential Cotswold village. St. Eadburgha's is listed in Simon Jenkins' book 'England’s Thousand Best Churches' in which he describes it as a "well mannered church which has turned its back on the famous village, as if appalled at its capitulation with tourism". I couldn't have put it better myself...
