Vegetarian blood

Here is my wounded pomegranete for the Thursday 11/16/06 challenge.
First time I've tried to do a food still life--Not exactly what you might see in Bon Appetit.

Put a few seeds with pulp in a glass, add champagne. Just something to try when you have a chance. Good shot BTW.

Very good and they are good for fighting cancer! Drank a lot of pomegranate juice when I was ill! I'd rather eat them than drink the stuff, though!

It reminds me of the days when fruit was seasonal. Pomegranetes always came to our area in the fall and were such a treat, messy but a treat.
