A Real Nut Case

True to Nature turned acorn style lidded box. Wood is post oak dyed with
undiluted Transtint dye and lid has burned acorn cap pattern.
The box is large enough to hold a giant burr oak acorn.

Fantastic job on this. The deep finish on the main body of the acorn reminds me of a Moulthrop. I'd love to learn how to do something like that. Beautiful work, thanks for sharing!
