The famous Bottle House was built out of bottles in 1906 because "lumber was hard to come by in
Rhyolite." In 1925, Paramount Pictures restored it as a set for their silent western, "Wanderers in the Wasteland."
Today, it's surrounded by a tall chain-link fence topped by three strands of barbed wire. That presented a real
challenge to getting a decent shot. I solved the problem by mounting the camera on the tripod, attaching the ZigView
video viewfinder and holding it up over the fence. It only took two tries to get this shot--an accomplishment I'm proud of.
