Mum’s box camera captured Bernard and Jacqueline on a Sunday afternoon walk down Hulkesteinse Road.
She was not only proud of her children but also very happy with the picture. However when the film was developed, the person responsible gave the negative to the editor of a magazine who published the picture without asking permission first. To compensate for his wrong doing, Mum received a small amount for her prize-winning photo.
