Messier 17 - The Swan Nebula aka The Omega Nebula. Shot using a Meade LX200 10" f/6.3 telescope at approx. f/4.7 using a SBIG ST-2000XM with a color filter wheel (CFW8a). 25 minutes (5 x 5) luminance at 2x2 binned. 5 minutes for each RGB channel at 2x2 binned. Acquired using CCDOps. Aligned and combined in CCDSoft 5. Dark and light frames applied. Adjusted histogram in Adobe Photoshop 6.0. DDP applied in AstroArt 2.0. Self guided by the SBIG ST-2000XM imager.
