One of my favorite bistros in Paris.

I dined here my 1st & 2nd trips to Paris. Unfortunately, I didn't get to return the last 2 trips.

3-course dinner is 21.90€ including wine & espreso can be had for about 30€.

We had a late night supper at Ribe just last month (July 8, 2009). All 4 of us enjoyed the food. It was definitely brasserie food, but very well executed. I had veal kidneys for the first time and they were delicious!

We went there 25 years ago - it was wonderful.
Gateau Chocolate avec Creme Anglaise made my wife cry!

Ahhh, I'm sorry it was a disappointment. I haven't been there for about 3 years myself so perhaps I'll be disappointed, too. :(

we went to Chez Ribe this summer but it isnt the same CR of 10 yrs ago. Quite disappointed, really. Seems to be more of a brasserie than the elegant restaurant we remembered. Ah well...we enjoyed Paris all the same. Still the most beautiful city in the world.

My husband and I lived a few doors away from the Eiffel Tower (rue Charles Floquet) and we love Chez Ribe. We havent been back since we left (for another assignment) but hope to return this summer. So glad it is still there!!
