Built from 1936-38 and dedicated by President Franklin Roosevelt
The stone and timber lodge is situated at 6000' on the slopes of Mount Hood, Oregon's tallest mountain.
It continues to be a favorite lodge of the Timberline Ski Area.

Declared a NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK in 1978.
