Canal & River

The Wyre Aqueduct is a single span aqueduct, which was completed in 1797 and was designed by the celebrated canal engineer John Rennie (7th June 1761 - 4th October 1821).
It carries the Lancaster Canal over the River Wyre at a height of 34 feet and is 110 feet long.

We've just been watching a TV doco on your rivers with Griff Rhys Jones so this is great to see for me! A clever thought out spot for a pov, well done!
