Farmer's Market

June Challenge: Urban and Landscapes

Our ancestors grew their own fruits and vegetables.
Today we go to Farmer's Markets to buy them.

My sister still grows her own veggies. I wish I had a garden. But, no time so I go to the farmer's market too. Nice shot!

My parents started with a Victory Garden during the Big War.
My mother kept the vegetable garden going until she was in her mid-80s.

Hamden's Official Farmers Market (we have two) opens in two weeks.
My wife enjoyed going there and chatting with the few farmers left in town.

We still grow our own fruits and veggies at my home. Homegrown snow peas, raspberries and currents are on tonights menu.
Delicious shot Brenda! :)
