Future Niagara Falls?

May Challenge: Memories

This photo evokes memories of going to Niagara Falls
(I went to school in Buffalo so this was a hop, skip
and a jump away). I also remember rippling rivers...one
such memory was when we were coming back from a family vacation.
The car broke down. My mother fixed us lunch near a river
like this while my father fixed the car.

I have similar memories! We lived north of Pittsburgh and had family drives to Niagara and to see family in Canada. We would stop along the road and have lunch, listen to the water and enjoy the soothing sound after riding for hours with the windows down (no A/C). Beautiful photo and memory! V

Now, those are the kinds of memories that will last a life time. Now days, folks just get all steamed up if their car broke down. Your Mom decided to make the best of the situation. Love the river...beautiful image!
