May Challenge: memories

I remember one rainy Spring night. My mother and I were coming home
from a Mother-Daughter dinner that we'd attended with my Great Aunt
at her church in the neighboring town. We were coming home on one of
the back country roads. It was raining pretty hard and
hundreds of frogs were leaping across the road.
My mother and I squealed all the way home
as she tried to avoid running over them with the car.
