So what’s so great about this shot you ask? It was an experiment in lighting. Brennen suggests that the off camera flash creates too harsh of light - I agree. So, this shot was done using my Christmas present, a light stand and 42" umbrella. Slave flash bouncing into silver umbrella, located above the glass (5ft to the left of me) and behind the netting.
Very pleased with the result - shadows on ice are from above arena lighting - literally no flash shadowing!
