Moon, Clouds and Chaos. The birth of time.

I went looking for the moon but instead found the beauty of the cloudscape passing below the almost full moon. Not a bad shot for a handheld at 1/6 sec ... it would be nice to have an "IS" telephoto though. I went out again and did some comparison shots of my three best cameras. I hope that the total lunar eclispe in three days time is cloud free.

This is really beautiful as a composition and with those muted colors on a dark backscape.

It's amazing how similar our moon shots are, with you in Sydney and me in Detroit! It is a small world indeed.
