Ipod fix

This little circuit board is the center "select" button of my son's Ipod.
The flexible circuit board track had a crack in it. It had been
intermittent from purchase and adventually failed after two years.
I repaired it by scratching the plastic off the board to bare copper
and gentle soldering. It was then covered in glue.

So much for Apples quality control... and your camera is full of these
fexible circuit boards. If you have any problems with your camera
report it while still in warranty and get it fixed. Don't give in and
don't take any nonsense from them.

FOOTNOTE: This Ipod is dead. Not related to the above fix the hard drive developed bad sectors 2 month later then failed to boot. The word crap was spoken a number of times and my son has purchased an IRIVER player and vows never to purchase an apple product again.
