Bismuth - element 83
Purchased at the local mineral and Gemstones
exhibition. Bismuth forms intricate square crystals
as it cools from the melt. Bismuth also expands 3% as it
solidifies and is considered the most radioactive stable
element in the universe. This sample is about 20mm across.
