On the cold Saturday afternoon, I wandered around downtown of Detroit.

Several blocks away from Renaissance Center, buildings are emptied and abandoned.

The witherness of US manufacturing is inevtibale, gone with the glory of the old industrial cities.
Also, with the fast pace of modern life, people tend more to throw away everything that go south: fruit, cans, old PC, even the cities.
