Small Magellanic Cloud SMC and 47 Tucanae

Hakos, Namibia

The SMC, with the near globular cluster 47Tuc is seen here in this narrow view. This shot was taken with an SBIG STL11000 and a Takahashi FSQ106ED 530mm/f5 without any converter. RGB filters were used from Astronomik. Exposure times were 3x5 mins with each filter. Additive exposure time is therefore 45 mins .
