The family had boat rental reservations on Saturday. So out we went even though the front of the arctic storm had just passed and the forecast for the day was cold temperatures with chance of thunderstorms and snow in the higher elevations. Expecting to "freeze" on this boat ride, we were fortunate to get boat with plastic around all sides except the back. This kept us comfortable and I was able to unzip a portion to be able to take photos.

It turned out to be a lovely outing. Towards the end of the trip the cloud cover was building up providing this opportunity to capture an image for the Shadows & Light challenge.

[It is okay to laugh out loud at our idea of "freezing".]
