We stayed the less crowded northern corner of the park. This area is the ancestral home of the Makuleke people. It is located between the Limpopo and Luvuvhu Rivers. We were scheduled to stay at Parfuri Tented Lodge. However, due to some media event we were handled as overflow and ended up at the Outpost, a top-of-the-line lodge. The lodge is located on a hill overlooking the flood plains of the Limpopo and Luvuvhu Rivers. It is run by the Makuleke people with the assistance of concessioners. |
