The two wolverine shots were taken with the camera and telephoto mounted on a tripod. The blurriness in each image may derive from: the wolverine was very, very far away; the wolverine images presented in this gallery were highly cropped from the original; the camera may have had trouble focusing on the wolverine (I didn't try spot-focus); and there may have been very, very slight camera wiggle despite tripod and image-stabilization given that I was holding the camera atop the tripod, and some camera movement was induced as I pushed the shutter switch. A tiny movement can be multiplied by a telephoto shooting across a long distance. Oh well, I feel honored to have been in the presence of a wolverine in the wild, and thus have shared two wolverine images despite their being far less than perfect.
