Another excellent photography accomplishment - great for Halloween!
waauw, beautiful color!
And intresting spider gallery
Thanks for the comment. However, in spite of the resemblance, this is not a jumping spider (Salticidae), rather it belongs to a quite different family with cribellate webs called Eresidae. This species makes burrows with its cribellate sheet extending from it. The pictured male makes no burrows, rather wanders in search for the female.

This is such a stunning shot! I just love it. Jumping spiders are amongst the most beautiful and the most varied, in my humble opinion. BV
What a beauty! =V=
Simple + striking
What a great macro. The colors are distinct. Those fangs!
Wonderful capture, Vote
OH MY OH MY!
That is terrifying!
It's probably only 3mm across though.
You are a spider whisperer, indeed, what a great creature, vote, Rosemarie :o)
Hay, stunning shot! What equipment did you use? I saw a few specimen of this species this year (more than ever before), but they all were too fast to take a good picture (how did you make it pose for you?) Big vote!
