Duhok, Kurdistan, Iraq

Sometimes it is difficult to believe that this is Iraq.
It is really another country up the north.
The Kurds have waited a long time to have such peace.
Of course no one is quite sure how long this peace will last.
We can only hope that it continues for some time to come.

I like this view of the city with the lights on and a bit more sunlight. Your vantage point is far above the city. Do you live up there or just out on a walk about?
