aphids suc ther so anoying

I'm trying to get rid of aphids on our gumbo limbo trees in Florida.The apids are so numerous that they are harming the trees.Unfortunately they have driven away the lady bugs and are being tended by a skinny ant.I've tried soap and water spray but nothing works.
Any suggestions?
