Planning to ski the highest peak

Ned and I checked out Skaftafell National Park's Visitor Center and learned about the incredible jokullaup floods that occur when volcanoes (regularly) go off under the ice cap, melt the ice which then creates a massive lake which eventually fails and floods, enormous ice chunks, all the way to the coast... phenomenal to say the least esp how it has affected human habitation on this part of the island (south). What we were actually doing in this photo is checking out the route to ski the highest peak.
