While including references to traditional Mamluk, Ottoman and Fatimid styles, the overwhelming impression of the breathtaking interior is contemporary and innovative, with three steel, gold, brass and chrystal chandeliers filling the interior of the main prayer hall with shafts of primary coloured light.
