Australian artist Ron Mueck's sculpture "A Girl" is the biggest human infant ever hatched.
More than 16 feet long and not yet unhooked from her hawser-like umbilical cord,
she still has traces of birth blood on her wrinkled body.
A Girl is an extraordinarily lifelike sculpture made with exquisite craftsmanship by Mueck,
who is known for his ultrarealistic re-creations of the human figure in silicone and fiberglass.

This piece, and Big Man, are so very compelling. Your description of Mueck's work with A Girl certainly captures the essence of his work. Nicely done Anitta.

This is another of the artist's amazing creations. I have seen some others - mostly huge and so lifelike. They are in galleries over the world. You have captured it very well - love the angle with that newborn face. Where is she on show, Anitta? V
