Hotel Seurahuone's elegant Art Nouveau building has a lovely dining room.
The very first Hotel Seurahuone Helsinki, housed in a building designed by Carl Ludvig Engel, held its grand opening on 8 December, 1833.
The new hotel immediately rose to fame, and is one of Finland’s most legendary sites for dining, accommodation and parties.
The hotel relocated to its current premises in Kaleva Palace in 1913 and was then a service wonder for its time, as each room had its own telephone, hot water and central heating!
