The Government Palace, Merida

On the second floor of this beautiful building there is "El Salon de Historia" which is dedicated to Yucatan's history.
All of it's murals are masterpieces of local painter Fernando Castro Pacheco.

Very striking capture, Anitta! I like the three layers of color and pattern, and the person contemplating the painting is excellent. V.

I enjoy the typical stance and her red and blue outfit which accompanies the painting and her being centered in the picture. There is a formality that works well here.
