The 430/nm band image was included to show what *should* be visible in the photospere at the blue end of the sprectrum, albeit not as far to the UV end of the spectrum as the 393nm Ca PST, and 45x wider a passband compared to the 2.2Å FWHM passband of the Ca PST. The Ca PST did not show the detail that was expected to be seen at this wavelength. The Ca PST should have shown a view similar to the 430/10nm filter, but with more detail, and would have been viewing the upper photosphere.

The Ha view was just used to show that this is an equipment problem,and not my inability to image with PSTs !
