The duomo was designed and built by Ippolito Scalza in 1630. The city didn't have the funds to
finish the facade when rebuilding the church. The bell tower on the left is the oldest piece here
and dates from the 14th C. when it was attached to the Cathedral of Santa Maria (no longer here).
