we are not the only people to have had interest in Biblical studies. There have been many adventurers before modern day- of many different centuries. Everyone wants to leave their mark to show they have been there. Perhaps the christian explorers of the Byzantine or othe such era's have come, and unable to take photographs, were able to mark their faith into stones near the site. It's just one possible guess

Yes, What the Cross to do on that era. Cross got its significance only after Jesus Christ.
Please give light to our thoughts

Tell me one thing... What are CROSSES doing on the stones?! The flood occured ages before the birth of Christ, leave alone his crucifixion. Could somebody shed some light on this?! Appears to be an elaborate hoax, I assume. RSVP - la_frederick@yahoo.com (Subject: "YOUR NOAH"S ARK QUERY").Thank you very much indeed!! :o)
