The Cosmopolitan Hotel, also known as La Casa de Bandini

This building, one of the oldest in San Diego, will re-open in June after an extensive renovation.
Personally I think a lot of the character and also architectural details were damaged or destroyed in the renovation.

Nice wide angle view, I think I like the 18 better. But, it is still a fab architectural piece with awesome lines. V

Nice use of the 18mm end ! And I agree with you: the original design is preferable.
However, better preserved/renovated than demolished. :-)
