Minolta Hi-Matic 7S was originally marketed 1966. 40 years after I bought this camera. It looks and feels like oversized Canonet. It is also very close by all means. The construction is extremely rugged. 45mm 1.8 lens is huge (for rangefinder). Here is the history of Hi-Matics:
