One of the deep, long wooded gorges that encircle the much of Luxembourg City. The river that runs through it for nearly 13 kilometres is little more than a stream now, but it carved out the valley, 230 feet deep, during the Ice Age. Spanning the gorge park are two viaduct bridges that carry city centre main roads, and the heart of the city looms over it atop towering cliffs on each side. This view was taken from Constitution Square.
