St. Pancras, the parish church in Telfes.
The original church was built around 1344. After a fire in 1593 burnt down the original steeple, another one was built in 1626 and it still stands today. The present large building was constructed around this tower in the mid 18th century. Its interior is decorated with beautiful large-scale ceiling frescoes by the Tyrolean artist Anton Zoller. He was also responsible for the exterior painted decorations which include a fresco of St. Pancras over the rear entrance and the framing of the sundial on the south facade. At a side altar in a glass shrine is the relic of a 6th century Tunisian bishop and controversial theologian, Fecundus, who died in exile in Europe in 570. The large organ was built in 1865.
