Further to two images and story, in this Brighton gallery, of Brighton & Hove Albion's temporary home (for 11 years!) at Withdean Stadium.....here is the joyous end of the long tale.
This is at the opening ceremony in August 2011, of the amazing, fantastic state of the art, brand new Amex Stadium at Falmer. It was a friendly match against Tottenham Hotspur and we now play here in the Championship League after gaining promotion as runaway winners of League 2 last season.....the icing on the cake!
