I've seen this shot somewhere before, maybe on these pages but having been inspired by Linda's eggs from yesterday, didn't they look good, I just had to have a go at this one.

Excellent !

Lovely picture, looks like the egg is in a real dilemma, being trapped or being whisked!

Hi Mark, this sounds realy corny but the background is non other than a roll of wallpaper! To keep the white I over exposed then pushed the levels, that's about it really!

Ian, you make difficult photos look so easy. I love it. Clean whites, warm shadows. I also like how much DoF you lose on the handle. What is your background material--white plexiglass?

I know and have seen the impressive lighting used here ;-)

Nice one Ian,

Very clever shot, Ian - love the perspective and the warmly hued shadows. Wonderful job!

And I saw several bacon photos on my travels today. Excellent shot, Ian. Ya gotta tell us what lighting you used. :)

Very nice. I, as well would like to see the type of lighting equipment you refer to. Also I made "improvements" when you have time?

Very clever! Now what came first the egg, or the whisk? hummm!

Fantastic!! Very good - and clever - idea!

Nice shot, Ian. Any chance you could show a wide shot of how you have your lighting set up and what type of backdrop you are using? Thanks.
