A sudden onset of pain and an unexpected stay in hospital this week took me away from the colour of normal life.
For two days I looked at life through morphine. The morphine relaxed my mind and body but drained my world of the colour and movement of my normal life.
All is well now. As I left the hospital on Thursday the grayscale of hospital life was quickly replaced by a much more vibrant palette.
