Hardly destined to go down as one of the greatest shots ever taken, this is a shot from the balcony of one of my hotel rooms. It was essentially a "let's see what happens" shot that I didn't put a lot of thought into, but there was something that I (almost) liked about the result. The shot probably won't have a permanent place in the gallery, but I'm leaving it there for now for myself only since it does point me in one particular direction that I want to go.
The sun is setting beyond the lit government buildings on the other side of the park. A solitary woman waits in the cold at the bus stop, as the lights of cars go past her.
