If I had to make a wild guess, I'd guess that the water for this tap is drawn from the pond that we saw in a previous shot.
Unfiltered and unpurified, it's probably fine for watering the garden but a tad iffy to go into a human stomach.
Still, the word "DANGER" comes on a tad strong, though.
