I was working from home on this day. Ordinarily the door to the study is closed through the night to keep critters off the sofa in the room. On this night it wasn't. When I powered up the computer to connect to work I heard a soft "thup-thup-thup!" behind me. It was a wolf tail being whacked on the couch repeatedly.
"What are you doing up there, naughty?"
"Oh no, I'm a good girl and I don't take up much space!"
"Oh, all right, stay there then."
Later in the day I decided it was time to go out to take a PAD. Some garden plants were to be the victim, and the 60mm macro was to be the weapon. Before I attached it and went out, I first started playing around taking some shots (with the standard lens) of Lilly here who, as I've previously mentioned, does not photograph well. I didn't expect anything of it, I was just trying to get her to look at the camera and of course she did everything but.
So off I went to take some shots of the plants and they turned out pretty well. Technically they turned out far better than this one, considering the blow out from the backlighting of the window and the somewhat distracting background (which I'll admit I've desaturated a bit). But nonetheless given the paucity of Lilly content in my galleries, and the wistful expression (which is probably more accurately a "brain in neutral" expression) I figured I'd go with this anyway.
That was yesterday's PAD at the time of posting; today I went out for another mega shoot and have a few hundred shots to sift through so I'll have to come back to that later.
