As I've mentioned previously, the updated train timetable that screwed us late last year has often necessitated us going back along the line just to make sure that we can get on our trains and aren't crowded out by short distance commuters who prefer to catch the Wollongong ones to save themselves a couple of stops. Some of us go right back to the start at Bondi Junction.
On this day I got there somewhat earlier than I needed to and thought that I would spend the extra time grabbing some PAD fodder. This is part of a sculpture in Oxford Street. There is another one nearby in the shape of a telegraph. Who did them? No idea. Their significance? No idea either.
Next time I'm there I may see if there is some sort of plaque that I've overlooked.
